The Special Lecture titled “Leadership Qualities: Concerning Personality Development and Motivation” was successfully held on 05 December 2024 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.

The programme was organized by the Staff Development Center (SDC) as part of its initiatives to promote student development and leadership capacity building.

The lecture was conducted by Senior Lecturer Mr. H. G. K. N. Bandara of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, Mihintale.

The primary objective of the session was to equip students with essential leadership qualities and motivational skills necessary for academic excellence and personal growth. The lecture focused on key aspects of personality development, goal setting, self-confidence, effective communication, and cultivating a positive mindset.

Through interactive discussions and practical insights, participants were encouraged to reflect on their leadership potential and develop the confidence required to meet both academic and professional challenges.

The programme significantly contributed to nurturing responsible, motivated, and future-ready graduates.
