Workshop on Student Centered Learning
The workshop on “Student-Centered Learning” organized by the Staff Development Center (SDC) in Collaboration with the Center for Quality Assurance (CQA) of the BUSL, was successfully held on 23rd December 2024 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the University. The workshop was conducted by Prof. C.K. Beneragama, Head, Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.
This session aimed to enhance the university’s teaching and learning practices by introducing new techniques that actively engage students in the learning process – particularly through group and small-group activities – while also exploring effective methods of continuous assessment and the integration of AI-assisted teaching tools.
