The project also involved the participation of second-year archaeology special students, who gained hands-on experience in archaeological fieldwork, including site surveys, excavation techniques, and artifact analysis. This initiative was not only an academic exercise but also an important contribution to understanding and preserving the cultural history of the Vavuniya District. The findings from the exploration are expected to enhance the existing archaeological knowledge and contribute to future research in the region.
