BUSL Research Presentation Sessions – 2025 February

‘BUSL Research Presentations Sessions’ organized by the Staff Development Center (SDC) was successfully held on 18.02.2025 in the Board Room of  Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies. It was a part of the staff development initiatives aiming to enhance the professional growth, research capabilities, and pedagogical skills of academic staff of the University while fostering a collaborative environment of knowledge sharing and intellectual exchange.

In 2025 February’s session, three academic members presented their research papers as follows:

1. Senior Lecturer, Dr. Ven. Kadihingala Hemasiri : Topic – “The Bodhisatva Concept in Sri Lanka”
2. Lecturer (Prob.), Ven. Madugalle Sudaththa : Topic – “විසිඑක් වන සියවසේ ගුරු කුසලතා සංවර්ධනය කිරීමට පාසල් කළමනාකරුවන් අනුගමනය කරන ක්‍රියාමාර්ග”
3. Lalit Premakumara : Topic –  “Translation Errors Made by Writers in Sri Lanka; A Study Based on ‘Tenses’ of the English Language”
