The BUSL Research Presentation Sessions, organized by the Staff Development Center (SDC), were successfully held on 18 February 2025 in the Board Room of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.
The programme was conducted as part of the University’s staff development initiatives aimed at enhancing the professional growth, research capabilities, and pedagogical skills of academic staff members, while fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and intellectual exchange.
During the February 2025 session, three academic members presented their research papers as follows:

Topic: “Translation Errors Made by Writers in Sri Lanka: A Study Based on ‘Tenses’ of the English Language”
The presentations were followed by engaging discussions that encouraged scholarly reflection, critical analysis, and academic dialogue. The session significantly contributed to strengthening research culture and promoting high-quality academic engagement within the University.
