Training Programme for Librarians of Sri Lankan Pirivens

The training programme for Librarians of the Sri Lankan Pirivens on “Library Management and Collection Development” organized by the Library to raise awareness about modern Library Management, was successfully held on 07.11.2024 at the Auditorium, Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the University.

The training programme was conducted by Dr. Ananda Tissa, Acting Librarian of Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine, Ms. Sakuntala Senevirathne, Senior Assistant Librarian, University of Ruhuna, Ven. Demunnewe Upali, Lecturer of the BUSL,  Dr. SK Illangarathne, Librarian of the BUSL and Mr. Y. K. Tissa Bandara, Senior Assistant Librarian of the BUSL.
