The Inauguration Ceremony for the Newly Enrolled Student Monks of the 2023/2024 Batch.

The Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka successfully held the inauguration ceremony to welcome its 2023/2024 intake on 22nd April 2025, at the University. The event was a resounding success, setting a vibrant tone for the academic journey of the incoming students.

The ceremony was graced by the Vice-Chancellor, Ven. Senior Professor Kanattegoda Saddharatana Anunayaka Thero, who served as the Chief Guest. Newly enrolled students, along with their guardian monks and parents, attended the occasion, marking the beginning of a chapter in their academic lives. The Deans of Faculties, academic and administrative staff, and other distinguished university officials also participated in the event.

The orientation program for the newly enrolled student monks was conducted from 22nd to 26th April 2025, prior to the commencement of their first-year academic activities. Delivered by university resource persons, the program aimed to introduce academic regulations, codes of conduct, and expectations for the first year of study.
