Research Presentation Sessions of the BUSL Academic Staff

The “Research Presentation Sessions” for the academic staff of the BUSL, organized by the Staff Development Center (SDC), were successfully held on 17.07.2025 in the Board Room of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies.
This event was part of the staff development initiatives aimed at enhancing the research skills of the academic staff of the University and promoting high-quality publications, while also fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing and intellectual exchange.
Two academic staff members presented their research papers during the session, as follows:
- Ven. Kalalpitiye Sumanasiri, Lecturer (Temporary) of the Department of Applied Buddhist Studies: Presentation Title: “Examining Cognitive Psychological Characteristics in the Chapter II of Abhidhammattha-Sangaha”
- Mr. Ashley Rodney De Silva, Instructor in English Language, Department of Languages: Presentation Title: “A Study on the Use of Social Media in Education”
