Counselling Training Programme for Students of Buddhist Psychology and Counselling
The Counselling Training Programme organized by the Department of Applied Buddhist Studies of the BUSL, for the student monks offering Buddhist Psychology and Counselling, was successfully held on 12th and 13th December 2024 in the Department of Applied Buddhist Studies. The training programme was conducted by Mrs. Thushari Chandrasekara, Senior Counsellor at District Secretariat, Kurunegala.
This was a compulsory training for the student monks specialized in Buddhist Psychology and Counselling degree programme. The objective of this program was to provide students with a thorough and in-depth understanding of counselling skills, along with hands-on training to enhance their competence.
