Guru Tharuvata Perehuruvak (ගුරු තරුවට පෙරහුරුවක්) – Leadership Development Workshop – 2
The “Guru Tharuvata Perehuruvak” (ගුරු තරුවට පෙරහුරුවක්) – Leadership Development Workshop 02, themed “Communication Skills for Effective Teacher Leadership,” was successfully held on 15th September 2025. The workshop was organized by the Department of Social Sciences and Comparative Studies, aligning with the Annual Action Plan 2025, with the goal of enhancing the understanding of the teaching profession and its broader responsibilities.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. K. B. Anura Ranjith Kumara, Assistant Centre Manager of the Psychosocial Intervention and Counselling Unit, the Provincial Department of Education, North Central Province.
This leadership development workshop focused on empowering teacher leadership through effective communication strategies, fostering confidence, collaboration, and professional growth among the participants.
