The establishment of the reading corner at the department of languages on 11th of January 2024 facilitates the promotion of reading habits of students, academic, and non-academic staff to improve their language proficiency. The academic staff members have the opportunity to promote their academic works to the students, colleagues, and non-academic community of the university through their publications. The Vice Chancellor, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, Academic and Executive staff, and the students were present at this event. This initiative was conceptualized by Ven. Baladora Indrajothi, the Head of the Department of Languages.
