The Inauguration Ceremony of the 8th Batch of External Degree Program conducted by the Unit of Postgraduate External Degrees and Extension Courses (UPEDEC) was held on 10th March 2024 at the Examination Hall of Library Building. After lighting the oil lamp, the Course Coordinator Dr. Ven. Panamure Chandima Thero delivered the welcome address. The Acting Vice Chancellor Dr. Ven. Kadawathgama Piyarathana Thero and the Director of UPEDEC Chair Prof.Ven. Kanangamuwe Rahula Thero delivered exhortation speeches. Prof. C.M. Madduma Bandara who is a member of the Board of Study of UPEDEC delivered the guest speech. The event was concluded with the vote of Thanks by the Senior Assistant Registrar of UPEDEC Mrs. Chamila Godakanda.
