TThe inauguration ceremony of the Diploma in English & Diploma in Astrology courses, organized by the Unit of Postgraduate, External Degrees, and Extension Courses (UPEDEC), took place on March 3, 2024, at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies. The event began with the lighting of the oil lamp. The Director of UPEDEC Chair Prof. Ven. Kanangamuwe Rahula Thero, delivered the welcoming and exhortation speech. Mr. Dilhan Rajapaksha, the Coordinator of Diploma in English, and Mr. Nissanka Bandara, the Visiting Lecturer of Diploma in Astrology, provided insights into the courses. Finally, The event was concluded by Mr. A.W.G. Thilakarathna, Senior Staff Management Assistant of UPEDEC, conveying Vote of Thanks.
