Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree Programme – Academic Year 2025-for Foreign Students.

Applications are invited up to 15.03.2025 from eligible foreign Bhikkhu Candidates who have obtained at least one of the following qualifications to study for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) (Internal) Degree Programme.

Minimum Requirements for the Admission of BA Degree :

1. Pass in G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination with Buddhism, Buddhist Civilization, Pali and any other subject. or,

2. Pathamagyi Examination in Myanmar, High School Examination or any equivalent examination to G.C.E Advanced Level Examination approved by the relevant Ministry / High Commission / Embassy and approved by the Senate. or,

3. Diploma in Buddhist Studies or related field of study or,

4. Any other qualification approved by the Senate of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.

Note: Those who do not have sufficient knowledge in English and Pali / Sanskrit shall follow one year Preparatory Course in English and Pali / Sanskrit prior to Degree programme.
