In accordance with the Annual Action Plan 2024, the Department of Languages of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka successfully organized an English Seminar on 24 October 2024 at the University premises.

The seminar was designed to enhance the essential English language knowledge required for students preparing for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination. The programme focused on strengthening grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing skills necessary for examination success.

The sessions were conducted by the Academic Staff of English of the University, who provided structured guidance, practical exercises, and examination-oriented strategies to support student learning.

The initiative significantly contributed to improving English language proficiency and academic confidence among participants, while reflecting the University’s commitment to educational outreach and community engagement.
