The workshop was conducted by Mr. R. M. K. Jayathilaka, Deputy Registrar of the University. During the session, participants were provided with a comprehensive overview of the provisions, responsibilities, and practical applications of the Right to Information Act within a university administrative context.
Special attention was given to institutional accountability, public access to information, proper documentation practices, and the legal obligations of public officers.
