In accordance with the Annual Action Plan 2025, a workshop on “Financial Regulations” was successfully conducted on 30 June 2025 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.
The programme was organized by the Establishment Division with the objective of enhancing the quality, accountability, and operational efficiency of the University’s non-academic staff.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. G. R. T. Anuruddha, Bursar of the University. The session provided a comprehensive overview of financial regulations, institutional budgeting procedures, expenditure control mechanisms, and compliance requirements applicable within a public university framework.
Participants were guided on maintaining financial discipline, ensuring transparency in transactions, and adhering to regulatory standards in administrative practices. The interactive discussions enabled staff members to clarify procedural matters and strengthen their understanding of responsible financial management.
The programme significantly contributed to promoting sound financial governance and professional standards within the University.
