The Department of Languages of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka organized a Support Seminar focused on the Piriven Ordinary Level Examination for Piriven students of the North Central Province. The seminar was successfully held on 02 October 2025 at the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the University.

Approximately 100 Piriven students from across the Province participated in the programme. The seminar aimed to provide academic guidance, examination preparation strategies, and subject-specific support to enhance students’ performance in the Piriven Ordinary Level Examination.

The Instructors of the English Language Teaching Unit served as the resource persons for the programme. They delivered comprehensive sessions focusing on language skills development, examination techniques, and effective answering strategies. Interactive discussions and practical exercises enabled students to clarify doubts and strengthen their understanding of key subject areas.

The programme reflected the University’s continued commitment to supporting Piriven education and contributing to the academic advancement of monastic students in the region.
