To be Prominent Among the Academic Libraries for Theravada Buddhist Higher Education and Research
To Provide an Effective, Effcient an Advanced Library Service through Modern Information Technology Services for the Teaching, Learning and Research Process in Buddhist and Varieties of Related Discipline's
Accessible, respectful and practical support for diverse academic information needs.
Responsible information use, ethical research and informed scholarly practice.
Technology-enabled discovery and services that extend access to academic resources.
Care for valuable cultural, manuscript and institutional knowledge resources.
The Library’s development is connected with the University’s institutional evolution. Resources from the earlier Buddhasravaka Dharmapeetha library came under the University, and the library began developing with modern university-library practices from 1998.
Today, its role extends beyond shelves and circulation to online catalogues, institutional digital resources, Wi-Fi access, research guidance and reference support.
The redesigned website is organised around the tasks library users actually need to complete: find, access, understand and use information.
