In accordance with the Annual Action Plan 2024, the fourth training programme titled “Microsoft Office Corporate Training” was successfully conducted on 26 August 2024 at the Computer Laboratory of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.
The programme was organized by the Establishment Division with the objective of enhancing the quality, productivity, and operational efficiency of the University’s non-academic staff.
The training session was conducted by Mr. L. P. K. Gunathilaka, Senior Assistant Registrar of the University. The programme focused on strengthening practical skills in Microsoft Office applications, including document preparation, spreadsheet management, data handling, and presentation development.
Participants received hands-on training designed to improve workplace efficiency, accuracy in documentation, and effective digital communication. Emphasis was placed on applying Microsoft Office tools to streamline administrative tasks and support institutional operations.
The programme significantly contributed to improving digital literacy and administrative competence within the University.
