Training Programme on Role and Responsibilities of a Management Assistant

A training programme titled “Role and Responsibilities of a Management Assistant” was successfully held on 10 September 2024 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.

The programme was organized by the Staff Development Center (SDC) as part of its ongoing professional development series aimed at enhancing the skills, knowledge, and efficiency of the University’s administrative staff.

The training session was conducted by Mr. V. D. Kithsiri, Registrar of the University. The programme focused on clarifying the duties, ethical responsibilities, and operational functions of Management Assistants within a university administrative framework.

Participants were guided on effective communication, documentation procedures, coordination mechanisms, time management, and adherence to institutional regulations. Emphasis was placed on professionalism, accountability, and service excellence in supporting academic and administrative operations.

The programme significantly contributed to strengthening administrative competence and promoting a culture of responsibility and efficiency within the University.
