The Third Human Library Programme was successfully held on 08 November 2024 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Cultural Studies of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.
The Human Library concept offers a unique platform where “human books” share their own life stories, personal journeys, and special experiences directly with the audience. The programme creates opportunities for meaningful dialogue, reflection, and knowledge exchange beyond traditional academic formats.
The eminent personality invited for this session was Most Venerable Dr. Niyangoda Wijithasiri Anunayaka Thero. Through his inspiring reflections and lived experiences, participants gained valuable insights into leadership, spiritual discipline, and service to society.
The event was organized by the University Library with the objective of providing attendees with an opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussion, broaden their perspectives, and learn from real-life experiences shared firsthand.
The programme fostered intellectual curiosity, respectful dialogue, and a deeper appreciation of experiential learning within the University community.
