The musical event titled “Miyuru Sara Gee Miyasiya”, organized by the students of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, was successfully held on 27 November 2024 at the University premises.

The programme provided a vibrant platform for students to engage in musical appreciation and performance. During the evening, selected songs were reviewed, reflected upon, and reinterpreted through live performances. The event combined artistic expression with thoughtful musical analysis, creating an enriching cultural experience for participants and the audience.

Senior Lecturer Ven. Kumbugodare Pagngnaloka and renowned song critic Mr. Lal Amarasinghe offered critical appreciation and insightful commentary on several performances, highlighting lyrical depth, musical composition, and emotional expression.

The event fostered creativity, confidence, and aesthetic appreciation among students, while strengthening the cultural atmosphere of the University community.
