Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that Dr. S. K. Illangaratne has assumed duties as the Librarian of the University with effect from 4th April 2024.

Dr. Illangaratne brings with him valuable experience in library science, academic resource management, and scholarly support services. His appointment marks an important step in further strengthening the University’s library services, research support systems, and access to academic resources.

As Librarian, he will oversee the development and modernization of library collections, digital resources, and information services, ensuring that students, researchers, and academic staff are provided with comprehensive and up-to-date learning materials in support of the University’s academic mission.
