Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce the appointment of Senior Lecturer Ven. Balangoda Ananda Chandrakeerthi as the Head of the Department of Applied Buddhist Studies, with effect from 01st July 2024, for a tenure of three (03) years.

Ven. Balangoda Ananda Chandrakeerthi has rendered dedicated service to the University through his contributions to teaching, research, and academic development in the field of Applied Buddhist Studies. His appointment reflects the confidence placed in his academic competence, leadership abilities, and commitment to strengthening the Department’s scholarly and administrative functions.

As Head of the Department, he will provide strategic academic leadership, oversee curriculum development, promote research initiatives, and enhance student engagement, thereby contributing to the continued growth and excellence of the University.
