A special guest lecture titled “The Epiphany of Literature” was successfully held on 30th October 2026 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages & Cultural Studies. The programme was organized by the Department of Languages with the aim of enhancing participants’ knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of English literature through an insightful and engaging academic session.

The lecture provided an opportunity for participants to explore important literary concepts, themes, and critical perspectives while gaining a deeper understanding of the significance of literature in reflecting human experiences and society.

The lecture was delivered by Dr. Waruni Tennakoon, Head of the Department of English at the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, and coordinated by Lecturer Ven. Pahala Eraula Kolitha.
