The first lecture of the lecture series, conducted in accordance with Sub-Serial Number 1.7.1.6.10 of the 2026 Action Plan of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, under the activity “Conducting a Lecture Series to Enhance the Knowledge of Students Following Tripiṭaka Studies,” was successfully held on 13th October 2026. The programme was organized by the Department of Buddhist and Pali Studies with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of students following Tripiṭaka Studies.
The lecture was delivered by Ven. Watagoda Maggavihari, Vice President of the International Institute of Theravāda.
