In accordance with the Annual Action Plan 2024, an Eye and Ear Health Camp was successfully conducted on 19 December 2024 at the Faculty of Buddhist Studies of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.

The programme was organized by the Department of Applied Buddhist Studies with the objective of promoting both the physical and mental well-being of the University community.

The health camp provided screening and basic consultations related to eye and ear health, enabling early identification of potential concerns and raising awareness about preventive healthcare practices. Participants were guided on maintaining proper eye care, hearing health, and overall wellness in their daily lives.

This initiative reflects the University’s holistic approach to development, recognizing that academic excellence is supported by sound physical health and mental well-being. The programme contributed significantly to fostering a healthier and more supportive learning environment within the University.
