In accordance with the Annual Action Plan 2025, a training programme titled “Use of Spreadsheets for Data Analysis” was successfully conducted on 02 September 2025 at the Computer Laboratory of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.

The programme was organized by the Establishment Division with the objective of enhancing the technical competence, efficiency, and data management capabilities of the University’s non-academic staff.

The training session was conducted by Mr. L. P. K. Gunathilaka, Registrar (Attend to the Duties) of the University. The programme focused on practical applications of spreadsheet tools for data organization, analysis, reporting, and decision-making within a university administrative context.

Participants were introduced to essential spreadsheet functions, data formatting techniques, formula applications, and basic analytical tools that support accurate record-keeping and efficient workflow management. The hands-on training enabled staff members to strengthen their digital literacy and improve productivity in administrative operations.

This initiative reflects the University’s continued commitment to modernizing administrative practices and promoting professional development through technology-based training.
