Outbound Training for Non-Academic Staff at BUSL

The Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka organized an Outbound Training Programme for its non-academic staff on 6 and 7 October 2025 at the Sinha Leadership and Adventure Training Centre, Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Army Camp, Ambepussa. The programme was conducted in collaboration with resource persons from the Centre.

The primary objective of the training programme was to strengthen teamwork, enhance personality development, and improve coordination among staff members. The initiative was designed to build a more cohesive and efficient administrative workforce while fostering a supportive and collaborative institutional culture.

The training sessions focused on stress management, cultivating a positive mindset, and developing emotional resilience. Participants engaged in a range of outdoor and team-building activities that challenged their problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Through structured exercises and practical simulations, the programme emphasized the importance of collaboration, adaptability, physical endurance, and mutual trust — all of which are essential in creating a harmonious and productive work environment within the University.

The successful completion of the programme marks another significant step in the University’s commitment to professional development and institutional excellence.
