The Bachelor of Arts in Sinhala is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Sinhala language, literature, and cultural heritage. Foundational study develops language skills, writing techniques and literary appreciation.

The curriculum explores classical and modern Sinhala prose, poetry, drama and literary criticism, including Kotte and Kandyan periods, classical poetry, historical perspectives and cultural traditions.
