• You should have passed General English with a “S” pass at General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination. or

• Passed Diploma in English (External) conducted by the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka. or
• Any other relevant qualification deemed to be acceptable by the Senate of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka

Requirements

• Should have passed, General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination with at least one of the following subjects

(Buddhist Civilization, Buddhism, Pali, Sinhala, and minimum 30 marks for the Common General Test and have “Yes” for whether qualified to apply for admission to University) or

• Should have passed, a minimum of three approved subjects at the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka. and

• “C” pass for the “Buddhist” Subject at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination conducted by the Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka. or

• Passed the Pracheena Intermediate (Pracheena Madyama) Examination of the Sri Lanka Oriental Languages Society.  or
• Any other relevant qualification deemed to be acceptable by the Senate of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka
