The programme prepares graduates to serve effectively in academic, public, school, special, and digital library settings.<\/p><p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"939\">The curriculum begins with foundational studies in librarianship, types of libraries, and their services, offering students a clear understanding of the role of libraries in society. As students progress, they engage with core professional areas such as cataloguing, classification, bibliographic control, and reference and information services.<\/p><p data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"1384\">Special emphasis is placed on both theoretical and practical training. Courses in practical cataloguing and classification, library management, and collection development ensure that students develop hands-on professional competencies.
