The programme integrates Eastern and Western philosophical traditions, offering students a balanced and comprehensive understanding of philosophical thought across cultures and historical periods.

Beginning with foundational studies in the nature and scope of philosophy, students explore classical Indian philosophy and its major schools of thought. As the programme progresses, attention is given to early Buddhist philosophy and its dialogue with Western philosophical problems, as well as the development of Greek and modern Western philosophical traditions.

The curriculum further examines contemporary philosophical debates, moral philosophy, political philosophy, and the philosophy of religion. Through these studies, students develop the ability to analyze arguments, interpret philosophical texts, and engage in rational discourse. Courses such as Scientific Method enhance analytical precision and logical clarity, strengthening research and intellectual discipline.

By combining historical study with thematic analysis, the programme fosters independent thinking and ethical awareness. Students are encouraged to question assumptions, evaluate diverse perspectives, and apply philosophical reasoning to contemporary social and moral issues.

Graduates of the B.A. in Philosophy are well prepared for careers in education, research, public service, religious and ethical advisory roles, law, media, and postgraduate academic studies. The programme aims to produce intellectually disciplined, ethically grounded, and socially responsible individuals capable of thoughtful engagement with complex global challenges.

body {
    font-family: 'Poppins', sans-serif;
    background: #f4f4f4;
}

.course-container {
    width: 95%;
    margin: 40px auto;
}

/* RESPONSIVE WRAPPER */
.table-responsive {
    width: 100%;
    overflow-x: auto;
    -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;
}

table {
    width: 100%;
    min-width: 900px;
