Bachelor of Education
The Bachelor of Arts in Education is designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of educational theory, philosophy, psychology, and management. The programme aims to develop professional educators and education administrators who possess strong analytical skills, ethical awareness, and practical competencies for modern educational environments.
The curriculum begins with foundational studies in the elements of education and sociological perspectives of education. As students advance, they engage with philosophical, psychological, and comparative dimensions of education, gaining a deeper understanding of educational systems and reforms.
Special emphasis is placed on emerging trends in education, measurement and evaluation, school and pirivena management, and counseling and guidance. The programme also integrates statistical methods and research-oriented components to strengthen analytical and decision-making abilities in educational practice.
By combining theory with practical and managerial aspects, the B.A. in Education prepares graduates for careers in teaching, educational administration, school management, educational research, and policy development.
The programme aims to produce competent, responsible, and socially conscious education professionals who can contribute effectively to national development and lifelong learning.
