Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior, mental processes, and emotional development from both modern scientific and Buddhist perspectives. The programme integrates theoretical foundations, research skills, and practical applications to develop well-rounded graduates equipped for academic and professional advancement.
The curriculum begins with foundational studies in modern psychology and Buddhist psychology, introducing students to major psychological theories, concepts of mind, and the philosophical foundations of human behavior. As the programme progresses, students engage with core areas such as personality psychology, child psychology, social psychology, and cognitive psychology.
Emphasis is placed on research methodology and analytical skills, enabling students to design, conduct, and interpret psychological research. Advanced courses in abnormal psychology and counseling psychology provide insight into mental health, behavioral disorders, and therapeutic approaches.
