The Certificate Award Ceremony of Tamil Diploma Program for Internal & External students conducted by the Unit of Postgraduate, External Degrees and Extension Courses was successfully held on 16th November 2022 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages & Cultural Studies. This event being the first Diploma Award Ceremony of the Extension Courses of the University marked yet another milestone in the history of the University. The Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Venerable Kanattegoda Saddharatana Anunayaka thero graced the occasion as the chief guest. The keynote address was delivered by the Registrar Mr. U.D. Dodanwala.

Dr. Venerable Kallanchiye Rathanasiri Thero, the former Director - Unit of Postgraduate, External Degrees & Extension Courses, the Proctor Chair Professor Venerable Kanangamuwe Rahula Thero, Dr. Venerable Kadawathgama Piyaratha Thero, the Dean - Faculty of the Buddhist Studies, Senior Lecturer Venerable Galwewe Wimalakhanthi Thero, the Dean - Faculty of Languages & Cultural Studies, the Course Coordinator Venerable Halpitiye Samithasiri Thero, Heads of Departments and all the University Executive Staff took part of this event.
