Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit

The Bachelor of Arts in Sanskrit is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of Classical Sanskrit language, literature, and intellectual traditions. The programme begins with a strong foundation in Sanskrit language and literary studies, enabling students to develop essential skills in reading, interpretation, and textual analysis.

As students progress, the curriculum expands to include advanced studies in Sanskrit grammar, poetical and dramatical literature, and critical traditions. The programme also introduces learners to Indian religions and philosophical systems within the Āstika tradition, as well as Vedic literature, fostering a deeper appreciation of South Asian intellectual heritage.
