The Academic and Student Services Division<\/strong> of the University is responsible for managing and coordinating all academic and student-related service activities across the faculties. The division plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of academic administration, student welfare, and institutional coordination by supporting faculties, academic staff, and university committees.<\/p>

The main responsibilities of the division include:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Enrolling students into the University<\/p><\/li>

  • Managing all student affairs, including:<\/p>

    • Providing student accommodation facilities<\/p><\/li>

    • Processing payments for bursaries and Mahapola Scholarships<\/p><\/li>

    • Conducting student elections<\/p><\/li>

    • Assisting cultural, religious, and other extracurricular activities<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Conducting Faculty Board meetings and related academic meetings<\/p><\/li>

    • Coordinating academic and non-academic staff activities within faculties<\/p><\/li>

    • Maintaining and organizing faculty lecture halls and premises<\/p><\/li>

    • Preparing and maintaining the faculty academic calendar<\/p><\/li>

    • Assisting Deans to ensure the smooth functioning of academic activities<\/p><\/li>

    • Providing secretarial assistance to Senate Sub-Committees, including the University Research Committee<\/p><\/li>

    • Assisting the Research Management Committee<\/p><\/li>

    • Supporting the Syllabus Development and Management Committee<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
