A workshop on Prehistoric Stone Tools

A workshop on Prehistoric Stone Tools was held at Bhiksu University on 16th and 17th December, 2024, organized for archaeology special students by the Department of Social Sciences and Comparative Studies. The workshop featured Dr. Nimal Perera as the subject expert, who provided in-depth knowledge on the study and analysis of prehistoric stone tools. Students gained hands-on experience in identifying, classifying, and understanding the technological and cultural significance of these ancient artifacts. Through practical sessions and expert discussions, participants enhanced their skills in prehistoric archaeology, focusing on the role of stone tools in early human societies.
