Applications are invited up to 28.02.2024 from eligible foreign Bhikkhu students who have obtained at least one of the following qualifications to study for the Bachelor of Arts (BA)(Internal) Degree Programme.

• Minimum Requirements for the Admission of BA Degree :
  
  
  1. Pass in G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination with Buddhism, Buddhist Civilization, Pali and any other subject. or,
  
  
  2. Pathamagyi Examination in Myanmar, High School Examination or any equivalent examination to G.C.E Advanced Level Examination approved by the relevant Ministry / High Commission / Embassy and approved by the Senate. or,
  
  
  3. Diploma in Buddhist Studies or related field of study or,
  
  
  4. Any other qualification approved by the Senate of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka.
  
  
  

Note: Those who do not have sufficient knowledge in English and Pali / Sanskrit shall follow one year Preparatory Course in English and Pali / Sanskrit prior to Degree programme.

• Foundation Course in Meditation & Buddhist Counselling, Bhikkhu and Contemporary Social Understanding, Writing Skills, Logic
• Compulsory English/ Information Technology
• Students are offered the certificate course in Sinhala, Tamil, Chinese and Japanese free of charge.
