Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura organized 2 workshops on Introduction to Total Station on 21st March 2018 and Introduction to AutoCAD software on 22nd March 2018. Around, 26 participants (Archeology special students and staff) attended to the workshop and Eng. Saliya Sampath, Lecturer, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Jaffna, Dr. (Mrs.) H. K. Nandalal, Senior Lecturer, University of Peradeniya, Mr. Nuwan Malalarathna, Survey Department of Sri Lanka participated as resource persons. Workshops covered the topics of introduction and basic features of Total Station instrument and AutoCAD software, basic theories of surveying, hands on exercises (Field and Lab) and applications in Archeological research etc. This workshop was funded by Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. Workshop coordinated and organized by Mr. B. Venura Lakshman, Computer Instructor of BUSL.
