Department of Social Sciences and Comparative Studies was organized two days field trip for students who studying in Archaeology and Heritage Management. The trip was concluded on 7,8th August, 2019. The covered area was Jaffna Peninsula including, Dambakola Patuna, Kadurugoda Viharaya, Delft Island, Keeramale Fond and Mannar Fort. 34 students and 2 Lectures participated on the trip. Purpose of the trip was to give practically involved with Archaeological sites of the area. The Field trip was coordinated by Ven. Pahiyangala Sumangala, Lecturer (Probationary), Department of Social Sciences and Comparative Studies.
