The Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka recruited 161 new student monks for the Academic Year 2020/2021. The welcome ceremony was held on 30th May 2022. The University annually recruits Buddhist Monks as Undergraduates. Deans of the Faculties, the Academic Staff and the Officials of the University participated in the event. Commencement of the New Academic Year was delayed due to the corona pandemic.
