The Inauguration of the Diploma in English programme was held on 13th November 2022 at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages & Cultural Studies. The Welcome address was delivered by the former Director of the Unit of Postgraduate, External Degrees & Extension Courses, Dr. Venerable Kallanchiye Rathanasiri Thero. The course coordinator, Mr. Sanath Pushpakumara, introduced the academic staff of the diploma programme. Mr. R.D.K. Rajapaksha (Instructor in English), Mrs. D.S.K. Dharmasena (Visiting Lecturer in English) & Mr. R.M.K. Jayathilaka (Senior Assistant Registrar) took part of the event.
