The academic staff of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka visited the historical places in the Uva Province on 11th and 12th of August 2019 for their annual field trip. The purpose of this event was to sharp the archaeological and historical knowledge of the staff and write a project report on the visit making awareness of the value of national heritage of the site. The places visited were, Mahiyangana Raja Maha Vihara, Sorabora Wewa, Muthiyangana Raja Maha Vihara, Bogoda Bridge, Demodara Railway Station, Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Fall, Buduruvagala, Yudhaganava, Dematamal Viharaya, Goviduhela and Maligavila.
