Buddhism- Utility and Validity for the Modern life style

BUSL NC - 2017,the Annual National Research Sessions of the Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka, hosted on the 1st of November 2017.

With the vision of becoming the foremost higher educational institute of Theravada Buddhism in Asia, Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka organizes National and International Conferences bi-annually. This year the university plans to hold the 3rd National Buddhist Conference under the theme of “Buddhism; Utility and Validity for Modern Life-Style”, with a view to contributing topromote, propagate and preserve Buddhism. With the experience gained through past conferences, the University is capable of holding the 3rd National Buddhist Conference. This conference will be a great platform to all the scholarsto upgrade their academic competencies.

BUSLNC-2017 aims to provide an open forum for researchers from different disciplines to deliberate on their research findings, exchange ideas, build partnerships and collaborations for the advancement of knowledge..

We invite researchers to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation at these sessions on the following 12 themes:
